The Hill Country Memorial Hospital Foundation is currently seeking donations to purchase an advanced, two component anesthesia unit. This vital equipment will allow us to observe multiple systems – such as heart, lungs and brain simultaneously – and integrate anesthesia delivery and monitoring with the hospital’s new patient information system. “With this new anesthesia unit, we will have more detailed information and it will help us better care for our patients when time is more urgent. There is not doubt that the new equipment will meet the demands of anesthesia care well into the 21st century at Hill Country Memorial,” stated Dr. John Westfall, anesthesiologist and Medical Director for Surgical Services.
