HCM Cancer Resource Center
The HCM Cancer Resource Center (CRC) offers visitors the opportunity to be proactive about cancer for themselves or their loved ones. Community members can learn about cancer prevention, screening, treatment and survivor issues through the free literature, computer research stations and the public presentations held at the center.
The CRC offers its complimentary services and information with help from tax-deductible contributions made to the HCMH Foundation:
- Head coverings for temporary hair loss (wigs, hats & scarves frequently available at no charge)
- Educational and psychosocial support for patients, survivors, and caregivers
- Nutrition pamphlets, books and classes
- Helpful web sites (Internet computer access with assistance available on-site)
As a community hospital, Hill Country Memorial has recognized the importance of confronting cancer in the most impactful way. The CRC is the fruit of generous financial and volunteer support for a community dream. We know that together we’re stronger.
The CRC does not provide treatment or perform cancer treatment research. Visitors are encouraged to drop-in or make appointments, depending on their needs.
